Mumbai, Apr 21: They created magic on screen in their very first film together, “PIku” that also had legendary Amitabh Bachhan. Their togetherness and closeness had appealed to the audience’s charm. It seems that the magic and togetherness may be back on screen soon. Yes, actress Deepika Padukone and actor Irrfan Khan are likely to share the silver screen together for another time but this time it would be for director and producer Vishal Bhardawaj. Although the film is yet to be given a title but it’s stated that the movie is to be directed by Honey Trehan.

Trade analyst and critic, Taran Adarsh tweeted the same on his Twitter profile, “#BreakingNews: Deepika Padukone and Irrfan in Vishal Bhardwaj and KriArj [#Rustom] new untitled film. Directed by Honey Trehan.”
The film will be showcasing Deepika in the role of Rahima Khan aka Sapna Didi who is a mafia don and Irrfan will play the role of a local goon. The movie is said to be an adoption of Hussain Zaidi’s book called ‘Mafia Queens of Mumbai’.
This is the first time that Deepika and Vishal would come together for a film while Irrfan has earlier worked with the latter in films like, “Haider”. Deepika will start shooting after the completion of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Padmavati”. A source has revealed that the film is expected to go on floors by 2017 end.
