Month long Skill Development Program on Vermicompost for students and dropouts

New Delhi: Feb 13: In a bid to provide self-employment in agriculture sector, the Regional Centre of Organic Farming under Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare is going to organize a month long training program on vermicompost production for the students and school dropouts who are interested to make a good earning in agriculture field. The month long skill development programme will commence from 15th February 2017 and will last up to 15th March 2017 in Bhubaneswar. Interested students from primary to graduate level and school dropouts will be chosen for the skill development programme in order to promote organic farming in the state of Odisha. The trainee students would be enrolled and exposed to 220 hrs. of theory and practical classes on vermicomposting. The students would be provided with free boarding, lodging and fooding facilities.
