1-member committee formed by Orissa HC to scrutinize Jagamohan repairing

Cuttack, Nov 21: Today to scrutinize the Jagamohan repair work in Puri, the Orissa High Court formed a 1-member committee. Retired senior engineer, NK Mohanty has been appointed as the member of the committee. The supervision of the repair work will be done on Nov 26, Saturday.

The Sri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) and the district administration have been directed by the court to make adequate arrangements for the review. After the review, the committee will be sending the report in a sealed envelope. The review work will include that the formed team will have to check whether work has been done accordingly as per the guidelines mentioned by ASI in its recently submitted progress report to the court through an affidavit. The court has also asked the committee not to brief the media about its report and divulge any details out.

On the other hand, ASI has submitted another up-to-date progress report. The next hearing of the case is scheduled on December 7.
