Keonjhar, Aug 29: Around 11 persons have passed away in the last 40 days in Mahadeijoda panchayat here due to an unknown disease. Ward member of ward no. 9 named Parshuram Behera died on Saturday night. He was admitted to the district headquarters hospital for suffering from fever for several days. With such conditions the locals here are panic-stricken. Thus, they have asked for a permanent medical team which would be in the village 24 hours in order to ascertain the cause behind the disease. Hence, a medical team visited the panchayat and had treated the patients but has failed to contain the disease.
