Shopian: In a piece of good news, as many as two LeT (Lashkar-e-Taiba) hybrid terrorists have surrendered to Shopian Police, said reports on Thursday.
According to reports, the two LeT hybrid terrorists who surrendered have been identified as Irfan Bashir and Uzair Salam surrendered following an operation launched by security forces in Baskuchan area yesterday.
Reports further said that, two AK-56 rifles, four magazines, 102 rounds (7.62x39mm), two hand grenades, two pouches etc were recovered from them.
The FIR has been registered under relevant sections and investigation is underway informed the Shopian Police.
