Bhubaneswar: July 15: Odisha recorded 2110 fresh Covid Positive Cases. Out of that, 1213 people were in quarantine and rest 897 are local contact cases.
With 2110 new cases, total cases in Odisha increased to 9,47,859 and of this, 9,20,646 people have already recovered from the disease.
At present, 22,299 cases are active. Daily Positivity rate has declined further to 2.91 per cent.
Khurda district recorded 458 fresh cases in last 24 hours, followed by Cuttack 323, Balasore 168,Kendrapara 132 and Puri 113.
Mayurbhanj registered 99 new cases, followed by Jajpur 92, Bhadrak 79 cases, Nayagarh 74 cases, Jagatsinghpur 67 cases, Keonjhar 66 cases, Sundergarh 62 cases, Angul 46 cases, Dhenkanal 35 cases, Rayagada 29 cases, Malkangiri 22 cases, Koraput 19 cases, Sambalpur 19 cases, Boudh 16 cases, Ganjam 16 cases, Bargarh 14 cases, Balangir 13 cases, Kandhamal 12 cases, Gajapati 11 cases, Jharsuguda 10 cases, Nawarangpur 10 cases, Kalahandi 7 cases, Deogarh 5 cases, Sonepur 4 cases and Nuapada 2 cases.
Also, State Pool registered 87 fresh cases.
As informed by Health & Family Welfare Department, 66 more patients succumbed to the infection. Total death toll in the State jumped to 4861.
