Bhubaneswar, July 30: Charged for Casting Couch, based on allegation made by Upasana Mohanty, Ollywood Producer, Rajesh Pati’s statement under section 161 of CrPC has been recorded by the Laxmisagar police station in Bhubaneswar.
A personal video consisting details of chat between Upasana and Pati on social medias and monetary transaction between them has been submitted by Upasana to the investigating authorities.
Few days back, a case had been registered against producer Pati under Sec 506 of IPC on the basis of attempt to murder and under Sec 509, for making an indecent proposal.
Notably, whenever producer Pati had asked Upasana for his money, Upasana threatened him to sue him by false casting couch case. Later, Upasana actually filed a case against Pati on the basis of attempting casting couch on her.
