Cuttack, Aug 29: Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) CEO, Bidyut Nayak, who had refuted the charge of manipulating the age of his son to enable him to play under-19 matches and showed the details contained in it have been forged, have been proved guilty for telling lies. The birth certificate of Subham Nayak, son of Bidyut, issued by the Cuttack Municipality, has confirmed that the age of his son had been forged. Information in the certificate did not match with data on the government website. The certificate bearing registration no 15619/2002 has the names of Subham’s real parents while the same registration number on the government website (Odisha e Municipality) has different names. A Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) health official confirmed that the certificate is fake and not issued by the civic body.
