Nayagarh, Sept 13: A man named Bhagirathi Nayak allegedly killed his wife and his two daughters at Petapalli under Odagaon of Nayagarh district today.
As per sources, Nayak surrendred before the police after committing the crime and confessed that he strangulated his wife and his children on the verandah of the Petapalli hospital.
Family dispute is suspected to be the reason that might have led to the killings.
Investigation is being carried out by Sarankul SDPO, and IIC of Odagaon police station who reached the spot after Nayak’s confession.
