Brahmagiri, Sept 19: During an inaugural function at Alaranath Vocational College on Monday, some irate students threw chair and shouted at Food minister Sanjay Dasburma when he was going to occupy the Dias. It is been suspected that the students are backed by opposition parties. However, no injuries occurred to the minister in the incident. Police escorted him safely.
But, following the incident, a group clash between Supporters of the minister and the attackers aroused when the supporters thrashed the attackers. To take the situation in control police applied lathi charge on them.
Till now the exact reason behind throwing chairs has not been ascertained but the police has arrested one student involved in this who is now being interrogated.
