3-day Odisha Parba 2017 concludes on May 1 in New Delhi

New Delhi, May 2: A huge footfall was seen at the last day of the mega event named Odisha Parba 2017 held here yesterday. The three day programme had been organized to showcase Odisha’s rich art and culture, heritage and cuisine and make it famous all over the country.

At the valedictory ceremony, Governor of Jharkhand Draupadi Murmu was the Chief Guest and Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Anil Baijal was the guest of honour. Other than them, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and BJD MP Baijayant Panda also attended the programme.

The event had its inauguration on Apr 29 at the India Gate lawns here. Number of folks dances were staged on the last day. The ‘Hasta Shilpa Haat’ exhibition exhibited the state’s magnificent art, sculptures and handicrafts and textiles. But the limelight of this three-day show was the deliciously prepared authentic Odiya cuisines.
