Bhubaneswar/Cuttack/Rourkela, Nov 12: The Enforcement Directorate officers yesterday raided around six to seven foreign currency exchange agencies located here.
It’s stated that the raid was conducted as the officials had suspected that the foreign currency exchange service providers were allowing foreign currencies in exchange of banned notes. Similarly, the Income Tax sleuths conducted raid at reputed jewellery shops here such as Lalchand Jewellers and Khimji Jewellers in Rourkela. Searches were also conducted at some jewellery shops in Cuttack also.
