Bhubaneswar, Jan 5: Yesterday the Odisha BJP alleged that leaders and ministers of the ruling BJD are linked with those two All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) MPs arrested in connection with the Rose Valley chit fund scam. To bring out to the fore the murky business of Rose Valley in Odisha, the concerned members of BJD should be interrogated, the saffron party demanded. Without revealing the names, the BJP hinted at a minister who had met the TMC chief and the WB chief minister Mamata Banerjee a few days back during Odisha Diwas.

On the other hand, Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Prasad Harichandan demanded that the manner in which Sudip Bandyopadhyay was arrested on the basis of Tapas Pal’s accusation, Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik should be arrested on the basis of owner’s accusation in connection with the Seashore chit fund scam. However, the Odisha chief minister is not being arrested as there is a hidden understanding between him and Prime Minister Narendra Modi which has pacified the CBI from taking action.

Refuting these allegations, BJD has dared the Opposition parties to name the ministers with proof.
