Bhubaneswar, Jan 25: In connection to the forged withdrawal of nominations of two dalit candidates Penthapal panchayat in Kendrapara, today finally, the State Election Commission (SEC) ordered the Panchayati Raj department to transfer Pattamundai BDO for his crucial role in the incident. The SEC also ordered the Kendrapada Collector to transfer the charge of Panchayat election in the district to the tehsildar of concerned area. The SEC further confirmed that elections will be conducted as per the planned schedule. It added that in the meantime, the appellants if they want can move court in the said case.
