Bhubaneswar, Feb 23: In a meeting last evening, the annual budget proposal for the fiscal year 2017-18 has been approved by the council of ministers chaired by CM Naveen Patnaik. This year’s annual budget is fixed at Rs 1.06 lakh crore in comparison to last years budget of Rs 94000 crore.
While this years budget has been prepared in line with the central government budget by combining plan and non-plan expenditure, the complete budget distribution have been made according to schemes and programmes rather distributing department wise, said sources.
