Bhubaneswar, Mar 6: On Sunday the concluding ceremony of the year-long Biju Patnaik’s birth centenary celebrations was held at the Adivasi Exhibition Ground here. Odisha CM, Naveen Patnaik attended the ceremony as the Chief guest. A documentary on Biju Babu jointly organized by the Panchayati Raj and information and public relations (I&PR) department was screened at the ceremony.
Ministers of almost all departments, MPs, MLAs and other noted personalities were present at the programme. It has been a tradition of the ruling BJD to organize events throughout the year to mark Biju Patnaik’s birth centenary.
