Bolangir, Mar 9: In connection to the tribal girl being beaten up on charges of allegedly stealing a mobile, a fresh investigation has begun. Bolangir sub-collector, Bimal Chandra Mohanty today visited the village to conduct an on-spot investigation into the atrocity against the tribal girl. He said that although the victim was not at home, discussions have been held and some information has been collected from the family members. The girl will be further examined for the actual truth and stringent action would be taken against those found guilty. Though the incident occurred on March 6, the victim’s family had lodged FIR.
