9 party activists expelled from BJP on charges of anti-party activities in Sambalpur, Odisha

Sambalpur, Mar 14: Today Odisha BJP President, Basant Panda, on charges of anti-party activities, expelled nine activists of the party here. The nine are State executive committee member Girish Patel, district vice president Sameer Babu, Aswini Majhi, Kanhu Sharma, Shiva Diwaan, all from party’s YuvaMorcha, Prince Soni, Gopal Agarwal, Raja Barad and Mantu Agarwal. It’s stated that all the expelled nine had a hand in the insult done to party vice president Sameer Mohanty. On Sunday, 11 others were suspended for six years for conspiring against Sameer Mohanty. Additionally, the party chief of the state unit also suspended nine zilla parishad members here, new zilla parishad chairperson Radhashyam Barik and BJP State Executive member Nauri Nayak from the party.

Notably, some party activists had attacked Mohanty, an observer for ZP chairperson election, at the party office here.
