Cuttack, Nov 10: Yesterday here a father of girl studying in Ravenshaw Junior College student lodged a complaint four other girl students of the same college allegedly accusing them on charges of ragging. The father filed the complaint at the Malgodown Police station. He stated that his daughter was ragged by those four girls at the Daya Women’s Hostel. The police have registered the FIR against the four accused and have charged them under Sections 341, 323, 294, 427, 34 of the IPC.
On the contrary, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the college has claimed that according to the joint probe committee report it was not a case of ragging but a case of dispute between junior and senior students.
