495 More Cases of Omicron Variant In India
India registered 495 cases of Omicron Variant of Covid-19 in 24 hours. With this, India’s overall Omicron tally increased to 2,630.
Of the total, 995 people have so far recovered, the Ministry said, adding that the variant has been detected in 26 states and UTs till date.
Maharashtra reported 797 Omicron cases which is highest among states so far. Of which, 330 patients have been discharged.
Delhi’s tally increased to 465. However, 57 of them have recovered from the virus.
Rajasthan’s tally has climbed to 236 with 62 new cases, followed by Kerala 234 cases, Karnataka 226 cases, Gujarat 204 cases and Telangana 94 cases.
