5 Dead As A Car Hits A Truck In Odisha’s Angul District
At least five persons lost their lives in a tragic road accident on National Highway -149 near Kantiapasi under Khamar police limits in Angul district.
Sources said, a Iron-laden truck was parked on the left side of the National Highway due to some technical snag and the speeding car bearing registration number OD02F 5577 hit it from back.
The three passengers on board the vehicle died on the spot.
Two persons injured in the mishap were taken to Khamar community health centre where they were pronounced dead by the doctor.

The deceased have been identified as Goura Chandra Sahu, Dilip Sahu, Bapun Sahu, Ranu Sahu and Pinu Sahu. They hailed from Injidi village in the district.
All are supporters of a sarpanch candidate and had been to Palahada on the final day of vote counting.
