Bhubaneswar: April 30: DA for state government employees will be now 125% with current hike of 6%. ‘Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik approved the hike, which will be effective retrospective from 1st January’2016. The state government employees are currently getting 119% DA’, Finance Minister Pradeep Amat informed the Media Persons today.
Four lakh government employees and three lakh pensioners in the state will be benefited from this decision of the government and this hike will cost state exchequer an additional amount of Rs 676.90 crore annually. State government had increased DA up to 119% on last December only.
