77 villages in State get power last week under DDUGJY

Bhubaneswar, Feb 9: As many as 77 villages in State were provided electricity under the Deen Dayal Upadhya Gramin Jyoti Yojna in the past week ending Februay 7. According to an official release, the progress of ongoing electrification process can be tracked on http://garv.gov.in/dashboard. The release said, in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address to the nation on Independence Day, the Centre has decided to electrify 18,452 villages by May 2018 on a mission mode.
