Bhubaneswar: February 25: Odisha recorded 89 new COVID-19 Positive cases on February 24. Of this, 53 people were in quarantine and rest 36 are local contact cases. Sambalpur District reported 14 cases, followed by 9 cases each from Balasore & Khurda, 8 cases from Sundergarh, 6 cases each from Bargarh & Balangir, 5 cases each from Jajpur & Sonepur, 4 cases each from Cuttack, Deogarh, Puri & Jharsuguda, 3 cases from Mayurbhanj, 2 cases from Angul and one case each from Boudh,Kalahandi, Kendrapara, Malkangiri and Nawarangpur. Besides, 1 case detected from State Pool.
Yesterday, 90 patients recovered from the infection.
At present, 623 active cases are there in Odisha.
