Bhubaneswar, Feb 15: With a view to provide safety to the road users and to avoid accident at unmanned Level Crossings, East Coast Railway has taken steps to construct Limited Height Sub-ways (LHS) between Kottabommali and Tilaru Stations in Palasa-Vizianagaram Railway Section under Waltair Railway Division of East Coast Railway on February 16, 18 and & 20.

As a result, it is likely to reschedule or get control en-route suitably due to which delays may occur, railway souces said.

Passengers have been advised to confirm the position of the trains from the nearest boarding stations to avoid inconvenience.

The sources said, 12863 Howrah-Yesvantpur Express has been re-scheduled to leave Howrah on February 15  & 20 at 2300hrs and on February 17 at 2330hrs instead of 2035hrs.

18463 Bhubaneswar-Howrah Prashanti Express scheduled to leave Bhubaneswar at 0530hrs on 16th, 18th & 21st February, 2016 will leave at 0700hrs, they said.

18047 Howrah-Vasco-da-gama Amaravati Express scheduled to leave Howrah on February 15 & 20 and 12254 Bhagalpur-Yesvantpur Express scheduled to leave Bhagalpur on February 17 will be controlled en-route from one hours to two hours, the soures said adding 17480 Tirupati-Puri Express scheduled to leave Tirupati on February 15, 17 & 20 has been rescheduled to leave Tirupati at 1305hrs instead of 1035hrs.

Similarly, 22860 Chennai-Puri Express scheduled to leave Chennai at 1625hrs will leave at 1825hrs and 17016 Secunderabad-Bhubaneswar Visakha Express will leave Secunderabad at 1750hrs instead of 1650hrs on February 15, 17 & 20.

22604 Villupuram-Kharagpur Express & 22606 Villupuram-Purulia Express scheduled to leave Villupuram on February 17 & 20 respectively at 1140hrs will leave at 1340hrs while 58525 Palasa-Visakhapatnam and 58506 Visakhapatnam-Gunupur passengers will remain cancelled on February 16, 18 & 21, the sources said.
