New Delhi, Oct 19 Congress on Monday virtually dismissed as “frivolous” remarks by Jairam Ramesh that time was up for leaders above the age of 60 with Rahul Gandhi bringing a new team when he takes over as President.
Many such statements do come, do not take them seriously,” party’s senior spokesman Anand Sharma said.
Noting that only the all powerful CWC could decide such things, he said that the party in its collective wisdom has never spoken of an age bar.
