IAS officers’ association condemned the Puri incident; sought for disciplinary action

Bhubaneswar, July 22: By condemning the manhandling case of servitors towards Arvind Agarwal, Puri Collector at the time of Niladri Bije at Puri on Sunday, the IAS officers’ association in Odisha issued a resolution demanding disciplinary action against the errant servitors.

After listing the whole matter from Agarwal in the IAS officers’ meeting of more than 20 IAS officers, they supported the way Agarwal controlled the incident after the servitors misbehaved with him.

By stating his satisfaction about the action taken for this matter, he thanked the association. This kind of shameless situation should not be arised again anywhere in the state, he further added.

In the meeting, Vishal Dev, Secretary of the officers’ association said that government’s attention would be drawn towards the incident.
