Two patients succumb dengue at two places in Odisha

Bhubaneswar,July 26: Two dengue patients at two different places in the State, one identified as Y Jagarao of Girisola village, Ganjam district and another identified as Rasabati Devi from Barbil in Keonjar district, died on Tuesday morning.

According to sources, Jagarao was taking treatment at a private hospital in Vishakhapatnam in neighboring Andhra Pradesh where he died while Rasabati Devi, who was in a serious condition and was taking dengue treatment at the SCB Medical college and Hospital in Cuttack earlier, died at her residence, Ward 4 of the Barbil Municipality, a place where the ratio of people dying of this vector-born disease is the highest.

 Notably, according to reports, the dengue toll in this industrial town rose to five, with the death of Rasabati.
