Continuous heavy rainfall from Aug 3 to Aug 5

Bhubaneswar, July 29: South West Monsoon has been weak over Odisha. Odisha’s capital city is likely to experience in the next 24 hours rainfall along with thundershowers thus having a maximum and minimum temperature of 33 degree Celsius and 26 degree Celsius respectively by Saturday having a cloudy atmosphere all around.

The relative humidity will be 93 percent at its maximum and 64 percent at its minimum, as said by the MeT Sub-Division.

Moderate showers and thunder storms will be on, in few parts of Odisha by Saturday. During the weekend, rainfall and thundershowers will be occurring maximum in interior parts and in a few places of coastal Odisha. On Monday, South Odisha would witness heavy rainfall along with thundershowers and on Tuesday, North Odisha would witness heavy rainfall along with thundershowers. Wednesday would witness heavy to very heavy rainfall over coastal Odisha and interior Odisha.  On the basis of weather report submitted by the MeT officials, there would be tremendous continuous rainfall during 3rd and 5th of August, 2016

The highest maximum temperature of 36 degree C was recorded at Titlagarh and the lowest minimum temperature of 21.5 degree C was recorded at Sundegarh in the plains of Odisha.
