Bhubaneswar, Aug 18: Prafulla Singh, Former Cuttack District Working President of Odisha’s ruling party-BJD was grilled twice in a day by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officials for five hours on Wednesday, at the agency’s office in Bhubaneswar. The first session lasted for three hours and the second session was for two hours.
Singh was questioned in connection with his alleged links with two chit fund firms from Odisha-Artha Tatwa Group and Seashore Group of Companies.
As per sources, during the interrogation the CBI sleuths tried to ascertain whether he was mediating between his party leaders and the chit fund firms.
