Angul, Aug 23: In a bizarre situation, today while undergoing training at the Police Training College (PTC) in Angul district, an Assistant sub-inspector named, Sudarshan Munda from Jajpur, died.
Outraged by this the fellow trainees of him staged demonstrations on the PTC ground alleging the latter for posing mental pressure on him for examinations. It’s stated that, Munda had been promoted from the post of ASI to the post of SI for which he was taking training at the PTC.
All of a sudden at around 10 am after drill, he became sick and became unconscious. On being taken to the Angul hospital immediately, doctors there declared him dead as soon as he was being brought.
