BJP works on its agenda for the upcoming Monsoon session of Odisha Assembly

Bhubaneswar, Sept 17: On Friday, the BJP legislature party meeting was held in the party’s state headquarters in Bhubaneswar under the leadership of KV Singh Deo, to work on its plan before the Monsoon session of Odisha Assembly begins on September 21.

After the meeting, BJP MLA Pradeep Purohit informed that the issue of deterioration of law and order in state will be the key agenda of the party during the upcoming monsoon session. The issue of attacks on Union minister, BJD MLA Bedabyasa Nayak and BJP workers near Manmunda will also be taken up at the session holding the state government responsible for this.

Besides, the inadequacy of the government in handling the Mahanadi issue, the Dana Majhi issue, failing healthcare system, ration card distribution irregularities, Gumudumuha firing, Nagada malnutrition deaths and farmer issues in Odisha will also be highlighted.

While, the BJP legislature party meeting got over yesterday, BJD Supremo Naveen Patnaik will preside over the BJD legislature party meeting held at 5 pm on September 20 in the Assembly. Similarly Narasingha Mishra, Leader of Opposition will preside over the Congress legislature party meeting held at 6 pm on the same date.
