Cuttack: September 29: Selectors declared a 15-member squad for the first match of upcoming Ranji Trophy. Govind Poddar has retained his captaincy whereas pace bowler Basant Mohanty has been selected as the vice- captain of team.
Odisha has included four new faces in the team- Sandip Patnaik, Abinash Saha, Subhranshu Senapati and Rashmi Ranjan Sahoo. Natraj Behera, Rajesh Dhuper, Jayant Behera and Alok Mangaraj have been excluded from the team. Odisha’s first match will be on October 6 against Vidarbha.
