Bhubaneswar, Oct 17: The sine die which was imposed at the Maharishi College of Natural Law in Bhubaneswar on October 1 due to the pre poll violence has been lifted, the sources informed today.
Sources said that the regular classes will resume in the college from October 19.
Notably, pre poll violence had erupted on October 1 at the campus as all the nominations for the post of president and secretary of the students’ union got rejected during verification.
Irate over the incident, the students burnt tyres and staged dharna in front of the college gate and also damaged a car parked near the college. Besides, during stone pelting by students, a college staff was also injured.
