Suryakhetra Foundation chief interrogated again today by CBI in Odisha capital regarding Seashore Group case

Bhubaneswar, Jan 7: Regarding Seashore Group’s links with bureaucrats and politicians, yesterday the Suryakhetra Foundation chief Bipin Bihari Mishra had been interrogated for more than one hour by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) office here. This was not enough supposedly as Mishra was quizzed again for two hours today by the central probe agency officials. At the end of the interrogation, Mishra, the former president of Mumbai-based Pravasi Odia Organisation, told the media that he was asked about Rs 1 lakh which Suryakhetra Foundation received as a donation from Seashore Group. He answered stating that the donation money had been utilized for public welfare programmes.

Mishra who is also a Seashore Sahitya Academy award recipient, had yesterday, refuted all the charges of him that said that he is having any sort of connection with the Seashore Group after coming out of the CBI office here. However, it’s suspected that Mishra was the middleman through whom the chit fund company had transferred money to the politicians and bureaucrats.
