Balasore incident: 2 responsible RPF jawans suspended; Union Railway Minister tweets

New Delhi/Balasore, Jan 9: After the incident that happened at the Balasore station was highlighted at the media where the security personnel kicked and thrashed a Divyang on charges of stealing mobile phone, the Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu said that two RPF jawans were put under on suspension for their inhuman activity at the station. Prabhu informed the decision about the Railway Ministry on his twitter post. On Sunday evening, Prabhu had given orders to the Director General (DG) of RPF to investigate the matter.

Notably, on Friday, some RPF jawans had kicked and thrashed the disabled man on charges of allegedly stealing a mobile phone from a train passenger at Platform No-4 at the Balasore station.
