Adani foundation contributes Rs 5 lakh towards district Red Cross Society, Odisha

Bhadrak, Jan 28: For a noble cause towards Community, Red Cross aims to relieve human suffering in disasters and emergencies. It serves to preserve life and establish respect for all across the globe. It depends heavily on volunteers and donors to help it achieve its mission. Red Cross always extended its help towards needy and poor people.  Keeping this in view Adani group extended its hand for fulfillment its mission and continues this effort. On Behalf of Adani foundation, Dhamra Port Chief executive Officer Shri Subrat Tripathy handed over a cheque of Rs. 5, 00,000/- to District Magistrate and Collector Sri. L. N.  Mishra in a function at Town Hall, Bhadrak.

It should be noted here, the novel scheme of the state government to ensure quality food for the urban poor has been supported by Adani Foundation, the CSR wing of Adani Group which owns the Dhamra Port in Bhadrak district. Dhamra Port has been the implementing partner of the programme.
