Addressing a meeting on the International Women’s Day, Noble Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi on Monday, urged the women to break their silence against the evil and raise voice against physical and sexual violence against them in the society.
A girl is never safe not in a home, or in school neither in a mothers’ womb, then what kind of society are we living in, he questioned. He also raised his voice and asked the women to speak out their mind and identify themselves in the society.
“Keeping quite is problem, but Speaking your Mind is the solution”, he added.
The event which was organised by Parichaya Foundation (an NGO working on art & Culture in India & upliftment of rural society and urban slums), raised many issues & discussions on Women, in the day.
