Bhubaneswar, Apr 6: Yesterday the arrested Artha Tatwa Group chief Pradeep Sethi and director Manoj Patnaik confessed about their involvement in the chit fund crime of duping investors during a deposition before the Magistrate. After being appeared before the CBI Special court on Wednesday, the duo was produced before the Magistrate on the same day evening. Earlier both the arrested Sethi and Patnaik had lettered to the CBI special court accepting their involvement in the chit fund scam. The duo had been arrested four years ago and since then have been locked up in the Jharpada jail. 20 more officials of AT group have been detained in the case. The group has allegedly cheated more than Rs 500 crore from depositors in Odisha alone.
