Bhubaneswar, Apr 7: In a major fire incident at a furniture godown at Nayapalli, a staff identified as Ranjan, has been critically injured. Soon after the blaze took off heights, locals ran to the spot and rescued Ranjan, who was soon admitted to the nearest hospital.
After being informed the fire brigade reached the spot and drenched the flame down. The reason of the fire is still uncertain, said sources.
Though no deaths have been reported, but properties worth above Rs 1 lakh is said to have been destroyed.
