M Satynarayan as New Chief Wildlife Warden of Odisha Forest Division

Bhubaneswar, May 19: Yesterday the State forest department appointed M Satyanarayan for the post of the new chief wildlife warden (CWW) and principal chief conservator of forests (PCCF) of the Odisha forest division. Satyanarayan belonged to the 1983 batch Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer. Upon assuming office, he said that it is time to identify practical solutions to tackle the human animal conflict thus strengthening the relationship between forest officials and the villagers surrounding forest areas. He further stated that the department will from now on focus on developing ecotourism destinations along with active participation of wildlife authorities and also of locals.
