Bhubaneswar: January 6: Police has detained Lipun Sahu, the husband of Nikita. Reportedly, actress Nikita fell down from the terrace of her paternal house in Mahanadi Vihar and died on Friday. She was staying in her parents’ house with her 4-months’ old Son after delivery.
Today, her father Sanatan Behera accused her husband and in-laws of her murder.
Nikita’s father said, “Today I lodged a complaint that my daughter “Nikita has been murdered by her husband and in-laws’.
He added, ‘Nikita’s in-laws had their eyes on her income which had decreased after her marriage. Initially, they were leading a fine life, but later she had been thrown out by her in-laws’.
As alleged, on the fateful day Lipun had come to their house and had arguments with Nikita. Further, they went to the roof for further discussion. After few minutes, a scream was heard and Lipun informed that, Nikita fell down from the roof.
Nikita was further admitted to a private hospital on Friday night due to head injury. Later, she was shifted to SCB Medical College & Hospital.
Nikita was known for her acting in TV serial ACP Nikita and Odiya Movies like ‘Tu Mo Akhira Tara’, ‘Chori Chori Mana Chori’ and ‘Mathare Dei Pata Odhani’.
