Bhubaneswar: April 14: Four new positive cases have been detected in Bhubaneswar. Three of the cases are from Bomikhal area and one from Jharpada area in the capital city. With this, the total number of Positive Covid-19 cases in Odisha reached 60.
As per the information released by National Health Mission, case no.57 belongs to Bomikhal containment area. He is the neighbour of other positive cases 7,8, 22 & 39. He was asymptomatic and his sample was collected as a part of active surveillance and was tested positive.
Case No.58 is also from Bomikhal containment area. Sample was collected as a part of active surveillance and was tested positive. He is also a neighbour of the 4 positive cases of Bomikhal which were detected.
Case No.59 is also from Bomikhal containment area.Sample was collected as a part of active surveillance and was tested positive.
Till date, 18 People have been cured or discharged.
