Odisha reported 428 new Covid-19 cases today, taking the state’s total (since the beginning of the pandemic) to 12,83,297, H & FW Department reported.
Of total cases, 12,69,253 people have already recovered from the disease including 1095 fresh recoveries reported yesterday.
Of 428 new cases, 136 are in the age group of 0-18 years’. 249 people were in quarantine and rest 179 are local contact cases.
Sundergarh district reported 96 new cases, followed by 46 from Khurda, 35 from Kendrapara, 28 from Gajapati and 27 from Cuttack district.

10 more people succumbed to the disease and total death toll in state increased to 9036.
Current Active caseload remains at 4955.
52,672 tests have been conducted in 24 hours and daily positivity rate stands at 0.81 percent.
