Jeypore: Acting on a tip off, Vigilance sleuths on Tuesday, launched simultaneous searches at six locations in the house and office of AEE Jeypore, Biswanath Patro, for possession of disproportionate assets in Jeypore of Koraput district.
Vigilance raided the house and office chambers of Patro, Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) Jeypore Block & in-charge Municipal Engineer, Jeypore Municipality. The house searches are conducted by a team of one Additional SP, two DSP, eight Inspectors, six ASIs and other supporting staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Hon’ble Special Judge Vigilance, Jeypore. Searches at the following places in Jeypore, Ganjam and Bhubaneswar are being conducted:
1) His triple storeyed building located at Jeypore.
2) Two storeyed building located at paternal land Koli Sahi, Belaguntha, Ganjam.
3) Office chamber of Biswanath Patro at Jeypore Block.
4) Office chamber of Patro at Jeypore Municipality.
5) Office chamber of his spouse at DIET, Jeypore.
6) House of his relative located at Niladri Vihar (Patia), Bhubaneswar.
