Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj on Sunday.
Accompanied by wife Priyanka Marandi and other family members, Majhi offered prayers at the Sangam and took the sacred dip during the Maha Kumbh Mela.
“It is a special moment for me as the Chief Minister of Odisha to be part of this holy occasion. I pray for the well-being of the people of Odisha and the entire nation. The Uttar Pradesh government has done a commendable job with the arrangements here,” the Chief Minister said after the dip.
During this visit, Majhi is also scheduled to visit Ayodhya to offer prayers at the Ram Lala temple and Varanasi for the darshan of Kashi Vishwanath.
