Udala: In a shocking incident, the body of a new-born was found in a field wrapped in a polythene bag. The incident happened in Kuagothana village under Kaptipada police limits in Mayurbhanj district.
According to information, this morning some locals found a polythene bag tightly wrapped in the fields near the Kuagothana primary school. On checking, they found the body of the new born baby inside it.
The age of the baby was found to be three to four months old. On receiving information, the Kaptipada police reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter.
Police investigation is underway.
