Bhanjanagar: In a tragic incident, one woman died as a car rammed into her house. The incident happened in Kesarapalli village under Gangapur police limits in Bhanjanagar of Ganjam district.
The deceased woman has been identified as Sanjukta Bisoyi. She, another woman and a child were sitting in front of their verandah when the speeding car rammed into their house.
According to information, the woman died while she was sitting in the verandah of her house as a car rammed into her. The other woman and the child are injured. They were rushed to Aska Community health centre at first and were then shifted to MKCG for further treatment.
The car was going from Berhampur to Bhanjanagar when the accident occurred. Following the incident, the locals have burnt tyres and staged a protest.
