A passenger offloaded from an Indigo airline flight due to his alleged unruly behavior

Bhubaneswar, Oct 12: After a passenger travelling in Bhubaneswar-New Delhi flight of Indigo allegedly indulged in an unruly behavior with the crew-on-board on Tuesday, he was offloaded from the flight.

As per sources, the crew member first assisted the male passenger to tie the seat belt as he sought for assistance. Later, he asked for assistance when he went to the lavatory by pressing the call bell. The crew found him in an objectionable position when they went to help him. The female crew member denied to go in and asked him to maintain decency.

However during landing, the passenger passed disrespectful remarks at the female crew member. The Captain of the flight was informed about the incident by the crew on board. The Captain further informed the CISF staff following which the passenger was offloaded.

After the incident, the Indigo airlines confirmed about the incident and filed an FIR with the local police in Delhi in this regard. An investigation in the matter has been initiated.
