Dhenkanal, Sept 16: A tipper truck driver named Sudam Rout of Odagaon died when the vehicle touched a 33 KV high tension electric wire on Friday. The incident happened at Bypass Chhak at Dhenkanal, Odisha.
As per the information, while unloading stone chips at a construction site, the rear part of the vehicle touched a 33 KV wire due to which the driver died on the spot getting electric shock. After the incident, the vehicle caught fire following which the fire tenders rushed to the spot after getting the information and put off the flames.
Police have seized the driver’s dead body and have sent it for postmortem.
